Check out the video of Just Call Us Volunteers as Specialty Produce’s featured organization. We absolutely love Specialty Produce as they have donated every fresh vegetable that JCUV has ever used at every single event. We would never have been able to do what we do without the great support of the Harringtons and everyone at Specialty Produce who already give so much to many organizations in San Diego.

Thank you so much to all of our wonderful volunteers for making such a great meal and sharing your Thanksgiving with the homeless and all of us. The San Diego City Shelter is now open, so if you had a great time and want to volunteer again or if you missed us at Thanksgiving - please join us for our new fun “Soup and Salad Sundays at the Shelter” starting this Sunday, December 5th, 2010. Contact Julie Darling at [email protected] or 619 306-2765 to let us know you will be joining us. We will start cooking at 9am, head to the shelter around noon to serve lunch for the homeless. This is a quick and easy meal to prepare and serve so all skills are welcome. Bring the whole family. We will be serving soup and salad at the shelters all winter - so more dates will be posted soon.

Meet us Sunday, December 5th at 9am
