Welcome!

JUST CALL US VOLUNTEERS collaborates with other non-profits to positively impact the lives of San Diego’s low-income and homeless adults and children by serving free healthy meals and teaching hands-on cooking classes using fresh, often organic, and nutritious ingredients.

Through our partnership with the Alpha Project and Veterans Village of San Diego we organize volunteers to prepare and serve healthy holiday meals, twice monthly Soup and Salad Sundays, and other homemade meals to the homeless at the San Diego City and Veterans Winter Shelters and other locations throughout the year.

We also ran a successful volunteer program at Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center in National City, California. We brought guest chefs and others in the food community to this magical property to teach hands-on cooking classes to low-income children in grades 4 to 6 from the National City School District. Just Call Us Volunteers brought more than 80 volunteer chefs, sous chefs and kitchen helpers to Olivewood Gardens.

We are seeking volunteers for these and other projects. Volunteer for a couple of hours or stay all day. Sign-up for a single event or let us create a recurring schedule for you.
