Volunteers and Donations Needed for Christmas Meal at San Diego Homeless Shelters

“Just Call Us Volunteers” will prep and serve Christmas dinner to our homeless guests at the San Diego City Winter Shelter, Veterans Winter Shelter and Metro Hotel.

As always we are giving gifts. This year we are collecting and giving warm socks and warm gloves. We are hoping for 600 pairs of each. We also need 40 turkeys, 24 hams and 30 Costco size pumpkin and pecan pies.

Drop off donations anytime at Julie’s Kitchen but call first to make sure someone is there.

Cooking and other preparations at Julie’s kitchen starts at 9:30 am Friday, Dec 24, Christmas eve morning, and will continue throughout the evening….

We will continue prep Saturday, Christmas morning starting at 8:00am at Julie’s kitchen. Then we will load up and caravan down to the shelters around noon to serve the Christmas meal.

Come help us for couple hours or for the whole time – bring the family.

Need a tax deduction?!! We are sanctioned by the IRS and can always use cash donations!!! We know how to stretch out your hard earned dollars.
