Picking Day!
August 23, 2014 2 sessions:
Session 1: 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Session 2: 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Come join us as we homestead for the homeless! Let Just Call Us Volunteers teach you the basics of water-bath canning. We will be preserving tomato salsa, zucchini pickles, and cucumber refrigerator pickles. Everyone goes home with 12 jars of goodies AND a swag bag of the products we use to make them!
Your class fee will help feed San Diego’s homeless community. Sign up to volunteer with us and see your contribution hard at work!
